Dazed and Confused!!

I've been trying to post to the blogs of those who leave comments on my blog. However, I am unable to post to anyone outside the Stashbuster Ring. Is this common? Or am I doing something wrong? I am using Google in the new format. Any suggestions?

On a happier note, I am watching the snow fall in the woods once again. It is covering up all the tracks and the trees are loaded. It is cold in my sewing room still, but new furnace #2 will be installed on Wednesday to warm the downstairs. The new one for upstairs is really making it toasty up there! I'd rather buy fun things - until it gets single digit cold!

Here is a picture of Anne's second block. She is taking to applique in a hurry and I love it!

Anne's blocks are turning out so nice. I have a good size collection of oriental fabrics and have been looking for a good pattern to showcase them. I'm leaning toward something with applique circles. Then I see this one and think maybe.....

On blogger. Somedays (make that most days) it lets me post comments on some blogs but not on others. I look at it like, I get what I pay for. :-)

How are you trying to access the other blog? You might not be able to directly reply because that person does not have their "show e-mail address" clicked under their profile... Otherwise, you should be able to click on the "blue" name in your comments (or e-mail) and go to their profile, at the bottom of the profile is the link for their blog...

What a good idea to use oriental fabric without the overwhelming effect. I am sure I will try that as well. The Baltimore blocks are very nice and beautifully done.

Judy, it's great that Anne is picking up applique and loving it. You're a good teacher!

Anne certainly has a knack for choosing fabric - those circles are gorgeous. Your Baltimore Applique is superb. I'm enjoying your blog and shall be back.

I love the blocks with the Japanese fabric. I've been wanting to make an Asian inspired quilt for a while, but haven't found a pattern I liked, this may be the perfect thing.

Your Baltimore blocks are amazing.

When posting comments, I find it mostly works when I'm already "signed In" to my own blog before trying to leave comments anywhere else. That way blogger recognizing me and I don't have a problem with publishing a comment. I hope this helps you.
