More Baltimore.......

Here are a couple more pictures of the Baltimore. Additional small touches of embroidery or embellishment are needed before I can call it quits. The birds are part of the Baltimore Tribute. The open wreath is the start of another quilt.... just because I love applique! :>)

I don't do much applique. I can't get the stitches "right." Yours look wonderful. As to the brightness, it looks great to me.

I love your applique blocks. I just decided to take an applique class this summer. Never thought I would do it, but I am.

Thanks for sharing the Torte recipe and including your comments. I like it when people share their tips on cooking.

Judy, these blocks are incredible! You do the most beautiful applique...but then, you always have! I think the hummingbird block looks just fine.

WOW...your applique is gorgeous...I look forward to seeing all the blocks made up into a quilt!
I have met a German quilter who is amazing at applique as well, and she wants to teach me! I am not convinced yet.....but I can admire and appreciate how much work goes into a quilt like this!
me? I like machine stitching, because I can make a quilt very quickly!
Happy Stitching!

WOW your blocks are beautiful. You have done wonderful with these blocks, don't give up you are doing great. What technique are you using? My favorite applique method is freezer paper and starch.

They are beautiful and bright. I love them. I too enjoy applique. I can't wait to see the quilt top with all the blocks side by side.
